WAITING TO SPEAK
Speaking is the biggest part of language because that is the core purpose of language, communication! So if you are able, try and start speaking Korean right away with vocabulary or even phrases that you might hear to get comfortable and confident with the language!
TRANSLATING FROM MOTHER TONGUE TO KOREAN
Think twice if you think you can simply translate Korean from your mother tongue word for word! Korean is a complex language that is very different from English and many other languages. Korean sentence structures are completely different from English, so it would not be accurate to just try and translate into Korean vocabulary word for word.
TAKING IT LIGHTLY
Learning any language from scratch is no joke. It is a long process that requires lots of practice, patience, and effort on your part! Learning any new language can take years so don’t be discouraged if you feel it is taking a while, but also make sure you are doing your part and working hard! :)
